A major influence on my life
I read this book when in college, over 20 years ago.

Environmental Psychology
Published in Hardcover by International Thomson Publishing (June, 1990)
Authors: Paul A. Bell, Andrew Baum, Jeffrey D. Fisher, Thomas E. Greene, and Tom Greene
Average review score:

An excellent resource for introductory environmental psych..
This is an introductory book on 'Environmental Psychology'.... which features more than a normal person can imagine ..... it is NOT a book related to common sociological issues on global warming, nuclear waste disposal, environmental strikes and demonstration etc...., This book is related to psychology and features on content related to the environment and the behaviour of people. It is explained in psychological perspectives and is suitable for readers with a basic depth in understanding terminology related to psychology. There are theories on relationship between environmental and behaviour, environmental perception (such as Gestalt psych etc.,) Additionally descriptions on extraneous factors of noise, temperature, barometric pressure and attitude, wind, heat and cold, physical built structures (clusters etc.,), on behaviour.

Furthermore, there are chapters on disasters, Toxic Hazards and pollutions, and most interesting of all, the concepts of personal space and territorial behaviour, high density and crowding .....the effects of life in urban city in contrast to rural outback areas....theories on Architecture, Design and Engineering for Human Behaviour. Additionally topics on 'design in residential and institutional environments', 'work, learning and leisure environments', and the psychology perspective to changing people's behaviour towards saving the environment etc.,,

This book is worth every penny of it.....it is worth keeping it as a resource material !

Dr. Greene takes the Word of God and explains this subject
I have read this and most of the books written by Dr. Greene and find them to be very easily understood and true to the source material from which they are taken. His knowledge of the Word of God is used to help explain in the best way possible the things of God. His books will be an inspiration to those reading them

Fractions and Decimals: Grade 5 (Hot Math Topics: Problem Solving, Communication, and Reasoning)
Published in Paperback by Pearson Learning (August, 1999)
Authors: Carole Greenes, Linda Schulman Dacey, Rika Spungin, and Carol Greens
Average review score:

GREAT FOR WARM-UP ACTIVITIES
Although I teach high school (intro to algebra), I have many remedial and low-achieving students. I bought this book, worried it would be too elementary for my students. I have found it very useful in my classroom. I have used the lessons on overheads for 5-minute warm-ups at the beginning of class. The cartoon graphics are not too young for my high school freshmen and sophomores. The exercises have been challenging for my lower achieving students, and provide good review for the higher achievers. I am back at this site to order other books by the same author/publisher.

Frontier Soldier: An Enlisted Man's Journal of the Sioux and Nez Perce Campaigns, 1877
Published in Paperback by Montana Historical Society (May, 1998)
Authors: William Frederick Zimmer and Jerome A. Greene
Average review score:

Very humbling to read of my grandfather Zimmer's adventures.
I never knew my grandfather as he died the year before I was born. I used to play in the attic of my home. I played with grandfathers uniform and sword, his musket and many of his personal belongings. Seeing as how this is my grandfather it makes the book seem more real to me than if it were written about someone that I never heard of.

Genetics for Cat Breeders
Published in Hardcover by Pergamon Press (August, 1991)
Authors: Greene and Roy Robinson
Average review score:

Yes, this is 'THE' cat genetics book :)
There are cat breeders, and there are Cat Breeders! If litter constantly crumbles off your shoes, and you don't 'know' a cat until you've seen its' pedigree, you're a Cat Nerd :] Mastering Robinson's book will be your last 'final' to achieving Grand Champion Cat Nerd status! I must admit to a personal bias in favor of this book as I enjoy combing apart a puzzling test cross as much as playing with kittens! This is one *serious* book! As with most things genetic, Robinson has generated considerable controversy with certain of his assertions and conclusions, but this is without a doubt 'The Merk' for serious cat breeders. His work begins with a quick refresher for those in need. But frankly, if you're an 'old timer' who has never pulled at least a B in a full-blown 300 level Mendelian genetics course, you'll be in over your head by page five. There are separate sections addressing individual breeds and type, providing much of the information you've always wondered about. With this book as a foundation you can move your breeding program into the realm of testable objective research. You'll know how to determine, for example, if a particular coat pattern results from the heterozygotic interaction of codominant alleles, from the presence of an unlinked modifier gene, or if you really have a new dominant mutant. Ooooooh!!! With this book you will evolve an analytical eye, enabling you to extract meaningful details from the haphazard work of hobby breeders - a great time saving resource for a serious breeder. Are you working with a clear goal in mind, or just putting cats together? The good news: this is an advanced text for a rare few :) The bad news: this is an advanced text for a rare few :( If you've found this review, have read the book, and would like to indulge in some technical prose with a fellow Cat Nerd, please write - it's lonely out here! Good Work, Secret Seven
Published in Audio Cassette by BBC Consumer Publishing (30 April, 2000)
Authors: Enid Blyon and Sarah Greene
Average review score:

Good Work, Secret Seven
Enid Blyton books are classics and it is unfortunate that young children are deprived of her wonderful adventure books. Growing up, I learnt to enjoy reading through her books from Noddy onwards through the Secret Seven ,Famous Five , Malory Towers etc. And now I would like my son to enjoy these books that would transport him into a wonderful world of childhood fantasy that is wholesome and brings strong values into his character. It's too bad that publishers see fit to discontinue her books.

Gooney Bird Greene
Published in Hardcover by Houghton Mifflin/Walter Lorraine Books (30 September, 2002)
Authors: Lois Lowry and Middy Thomas
Average review score:

Great to see a Lowry book for younger readers
Talk about a versatile author! And laugh-out-loud funny, too. Teachers in grades 1-4 are going to love reading this one in classrooms. Gooney Bird is an endearing second-grader who has a lot of practical wisdom to dispense and is able to do it with verve and self-confidence (and while wearing a tutu!) Imagination really CAN change the tone of a classroom and this charming book will show everyone just how it does.
